The Dare to Self Care podcast focuses on the balance between prioritizing health and wellness while also being a working woman in her 20s. Jen interviews both wellness experts and successful entrepreneurs. Conversations focus on getting down to the mindset and rituals guests had as they became who they are today, as well as educating listeners on the field in which the guest is apart.

It is important to ensure the podcast cover art simultaneously gives the viewer a very good idea of what the show will entail and resonates with the demographic of the audience.
Keeping in mind this is a rebrand, I wanted to keep a hint of the original branding feel so Jen's podcast will still be recognizable to and will connect with her original listeners.
With that, the visuals will be cheerful and bright paired with a photo of Jen holding a microphone in her light blue blazer atop a workout set. I also wanted to try a few other shots with her in a bright matching sweat set as another option. As for the setting, placing Jen in a neutral toned room, on a cozy chair gives a comforting, casual feel. It also allows for her light blue blazer to stand out, tying the original branding colors into the new cover art.

Jen's YouTube channel takes a more behind-the-scenes approach since she also uses this platform to share additional videos of her daily life. As Jen uses YouTube as a more authentic way to connect with her viewers, the visuals of the channel will be showcasing New York, where Jen lives.
Also staying true to the brand identity, Jen will be featured wearing her light blue blazer atop her workout set. This imagery is the perfect combination of Dare to Self Care Podcast and Jen Lauren herself: a working woman, a fun city life, with a focus on bettering health/wellness.
SHOT LIST
I created a shot list for the photographer to use. Typically the shot list consists of a detailed chart and a checklist, but since inspo images was best for this project, I opted for more of a visual shot list. See page 1 (right).
